چکیده
We try to explain the apparently ”thermal” shape of the inclusive transverse momentum spectrum. We conjecture that prior to the collision, parton-parton interactions generate a kind of a stochastic process driving the one-particle spectrum within a hadron towards the thermal shape it would have in a classical gas. We illustrate this idea, which might have a more general relevance, with a simple, exactly solvable model. PACS numbers: 13.85Hd , 02.50Ey

We present a model of Moyal-type noncommutativity with timedepending noncommutativity parameter and the exact gauge invariant action for the U(1) noncommutative gauge theory. We briefly result the results of the analysis of plane-wave propagation in a regime of a small but rapidly changing noncommutativity.

We prove the perturbative renormalisability of pure SU(2) Yang-Mills theory in the abelian gauge supplemented with mass terms. Whereas mass terms for the gauge fields charged under the diagonal U(1) allow to preserve the standard form of the Slavnov-Taylor identities (but with modified BRST variations), mass terms for the diagonal gauge fields require the study of modified Slavnov-Taylor identi...
متن کاملQuantum Hall Conductivity in a Landau Type Model with a Realistic Geometry
In this paper, we revisit some quantum mechanical aspects related to the Quantum Hall Effect. We consider a Landau type model, paying a special attention to the experimental and geometrical features of Quantum Hall experiments. The resulting formalism is then used to compute explicitely the Hall conductivity from a Kubo formula. LPT-Orsay 02-113 IPNO DR 02-025

We analyze a class of stochastically stable quenched measures. We prove that stochastic stability is fully characterized by an infinite family of zero average polynomials in the covariance matrix entries.
